| dc.description | This study comprises the largest cohort yet reported (94) of people living with HIV who develop an otherwise rare condition (TTP) and has several novel features, namely consideration of the type of plasma subsitute used, complications of treatment, and long-term follow-up. Permission to undertake this study was obtained from HREC (protocol number M201166). The database has been anonymised and all possible identifying charactersistics converted binomial notation to ensure preservation of anonymity. The journal requires prrof of us having lodged the database with a secure registry as part of the submission process. | |
