Description
This study comprises the largest cohort yet reported (94) of people living with HIV who develop an otherwise rare condition (TTP) and has several novel features, namely consideration of the type of plasma substitute used, complications of treatment, and long-term follow-up. Permission to undertake this study was obtained from HREC (protocol number M201166). The database has been anonymised and all possible identifying characteristics converted binomial notation to ensure preservation of anonymity.
