dc.description.abstract | The coastline from Port Elizabeth to the Keiskamma River forms the southern boundary of the map, the Black Kei being the northernmost feature. Those posts which are shown are situated on the Great Fish, the Kat, the Kowie, the Koonap and Tyhume Rivers. Grahamstown, Bathurst and Fort Beaufort are also shown. The map resembles others in the collection drawn up by John Reid. His maps are dated between 1844 and 1847. | en_ZA |
