Abstract
Another instance demonstrating effective communication involved resource allocation. When a key developer unexpectedly took extended leave, the team held regular progress meetings to redistribute tasks among available resources. This open line of communication enabled team members to understand their responsibilities better and ensured continuity in development. By fostering collaboration and minimizing disruptions, the project manager effectively mitigated the impact of resource constraints (Schwalbe, 2018). Lastly, the project manager's efforts to reassess the feasibility of an earlier launch due to marketing pressures exemplified effective communication. By collaborating with all teams involved, the project manager highlighted trade-offs and potential risks associated with an accelerated timeline. This transparency helped manage stakeholder expectations and maintain morale among team members, ultimately contributing to a successful launch (Meredith & Mantel, 2017). These instances underscore how effective communication contributes to successful people management by fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration within the project team.
